國際扶輪3450地區 第六地域五社聯合服務 : 十萬口罩送交長者、低收入家庭、長期病患、復康、傷殘及智障人士
Rotary International District 3450 Area 6’s five Rotary Clubs’ Joint Project:  100,000 masks are delivered to the elderly, low-income families, chronic patients, rehabilitation, the disabled and the mentally handicapped

群策群力 急民之所急

國際扶輪3450地區第六地域五個扶輪社包括新界扶輪社、荃灣扶輪社、大埔扶輪社、香港旭日扶輪社及香港華語扶輪社的社友於2020年7月31日分別到訪了8家志願機構，並親手將10萬個口罩贈送予志願機構。受惠者包括長期病患長者、 庇護工場內的智障人士、宿舍內的精神復康人士、 傷殘行動不便人士、低收入家庭、前線清潔工及難民。
Five clubs from Area 6 of Rotary International District 3450 visited 8 social welfare organizations personally on 31^st July 2020 and donated 100,000 masks to 12 social welfare organizations. The five clubs include the Rotary Club of New Territories, Rotary Club of Tsuen Wan, Rotary Club of Tai Po, Rotary Club of Hong Kong Sunrise and Rotary Club of Mandarin Hong Kong. The beneficiaries include the elderly with chronic illnesses, the mentally handicapped in the sheltered workshops, the mentally rehabilitated people in the dormitory, the disabled with mobility issues, low-income families, frontline cleaners and refugees.

 

面對新型肺炎第三波來襲，國際扶輪3450地區第六地域五個扶輪社，包括新界扶輪社、荃灣扶輪社、大埔扶輪社、香港旭日扶輪社及香港華語扶輪社本著國際扶輪「超我服務 Service Above Self 」的助人理念，坐言起行，於短短兩星期內，合辦並落實捐贈10萬個口罩的活動，其中更親自送到多個志願機構，以應社會各階層抗疫之急。

扶輪齊抗疫 口罩贈社群

新界扶輪社分享舉辦活動的心聲 • 當日，新界扶輪社的社長陳志雄分享活動相關詳情，表示今次活動得以成功舉辦有乃於各方的支持，特別是國際扶輪3450地區第六地域五個扶輪社的社友齊心合力的表現，既出錢又出力，於一天內把捐贈的10萬個口罩送到多個志願機構，希望通過「口罩贈社群」活動能為社會各階層人送上關懷及支持與「扶輪齊抗疫」!

荃灣扶輪社分享舉辦活動的心聲  • 合辦機構荃灣扶輪社的社長陳榮新分享當初組織活動的理念，就是要迅速地把口罩派發到社區上最需要的人士，以應對疫情的急劇變化，為社會齊心抗疫出一分力。

大埔扶輪社分享舉辦活動的心聲 •合辦機構大埔扶輪社的社長陸慧妍表示本身是公立醫院的醫生，深深感受到疫情對長者等高危人士的威脅，因此特別聯絡到社會福利署安排把口罩捐贈予安老院內的長者。

香港旭日輪社分享舉辦活動的心聲 •合辦機構香港旭日輪社的社長馬沛強表示活動得以在短時間內由籌備到落實舉辦，捐贈口罩達10萬個，並能惠及眾多志願機構及受惠者，樂見國際扶輪3450地區第六地域五個扶輪社出錢出力積極與社會齊心抗疫。

香港華語扶輪社分享舉辦活動的心聲 •合辦機構香港華語扶輪社的社長黃殷分享組織活動的點滴，表示期間聯絡眾多不同的志願機構時，感覺到受惠者對口罩的需求甚巨，希望這次捐贈的口罩能解社會抗疫的燃眉之急。

The picture shows the President of the Rotary Club of New Territories, Francis Chan, personally delivered the masks donated by the Rotary Club of the New Territories to The ABM Hong Kong Swatow Baptist Church Community Service Association. The beneficiaries include low-income people, temporary unemployed people, new arrivals and those who cannot receive comprehensive coverage.

The picture shows the mask donated by the Rotary Club of Tsuen Wan sent to the co-organized organization U-Hearts by President Benson Chan. The masks had been redistributed to the elderly, chronically ill patients,   the community elders, residents and front-line colleagues of the Hong Kong Society for the Aged.

The picture shows Ms. Sally Luk, the president of the Rotary Club of Tai Po, personally handing the donated masks to the commissioner of Social Welfare Department of Tai Po and the North District, Mr. Yam Mun Ho, and will distribute the masks to the residential care home for the elderly in Tai Po.
