While the epidemic continues, the affected vulnerable groups still need care and help to fight against the epidemic. Rotary Club of New Territories has learnt that Zheng Sheng College in Lantau Island of the New Territories is facing a lack of resources during the epidemic to counsel young men and women who have taken drugs. In view of this, members of Rotary Club of New Territories first donated some materials including canned food, frozen food, noodles, A4 paper and whiteboards for teaching, and took the lead in soliciting donations from all parties, hoping to raise more resources for Zheng Sheng College to respond the urgency of fighting against the epidemic.
With the strong support from members of Rotary Club of New Territories, in particular their Immediate Past President Terence Lun, the service project finally raised three whiteboards for teaching, 110 packets of A4 paper and color paper, and 624 cans of various canned food ( including luncheon meat, baked beans in tomato sauce, etc.) and 300 kilograms of frozen food, all of which were received by Zheng Sheng College and immediately used for its counselling and teaching work.
