Rotary Club of Ulaanbaatar has been implementing many health projects and programs since its establishment 25 years ago. This time, in cooperation with the Korean Rotarians, this club is implementing a project to improve the skills of doctors in the field of organ transplantation in Mongolia with a global grant from The Rotary Foundation. The Dialysis Standards of Operations, which is being translated and edited the by 27 Mongolian doctors from the Nephrology Department of the State Central Hospital of Mongolia as part of the project. This book with step by step guidance will undoubtedly benefit thousands of people who receive this life saving treatment.
In this project the Club partners with the Raphael International and Raphael Mongolia, and Korean Rotarians who are recognized experts in a field of organ transplantation and treatment. In Mongolia, we recognize a book as it spreads the wisdom. I am confident that this Handbook will pass the wisdom of internationally recognized doctors to Mongolian health workers who try for their best to improve the quality of life among their patients.
