A brief description of the upcoming tasks / events for DVSC in October 2021 are summarized below:
Serve to Change Life for Youth of Differences (YOD) and Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a movie appreciation cum Launch Ceremony
The YOD and SEN theme for this Rotary Year is “扶輪多元青年開啟人生”, with an aim to serve to change life for YOD and SEN. With the collaboration of We for All, we target to encourage Rotarians and Rotaractors to be equal opportunity employer and commit to create a diverse and inclusive workplace. To further promote these initiatives, a poster was designed and circulated earlier to solicit Rotarians’ and employers’ support to be inclusive employer and a Movie Appreciation cum Launch ceremony for “Rotary Changing Lives for Youth of Differences” will be held in the afternoon of 9th October 2021 with details as listed below:
- Date: 9th October 2021 (Saturday)
- Time: 15:00
- Venue: House 12, Premiere Elements, 2130, 2/F, Fire, ELEMENTS, 1 Austin Road West, Kowloon
- Fee: HKD 200 / ticket
- Seat limits: 45
- Movie: “The Normal Exceptional” (“媽媽,我有一條了不起的神經!”)
- Language: Cantonese (with English subtitles)

Seats are limited and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. If the no of registration is over the limit, it will be assigned upon OC’s final review and confirmation. Rotary On-site Visit List Summary (2021-2022)
DVSC will release a vocational site visit summary list for Rotarians’ and Clubs’ reference. The lists include vocational visit to CIC BIM Space, Cyberport, Budweiser and Baguio’s Waste Glass Bottle Recycling Plant. Any Clubs / Rotarians who would like to conduct a vocational visit there can contact the responsible person on the summary list.
