DM Committee is happy to report that there is a net increase of 37 members in September, over the existing 107 Clubs of D3450 and, ‘Clubs with Under 20’ members dropped from 42 to 37! Everyone is gearing up and strengthening their Clubs with membership intakes. On the new Club front, the 3rd new Satellite Club this year has been approved by RI, SC of Star Avenue, while The Discovery was chartered with 8 new members.
The first District New Members Orientation was held in Mongolia on 24August, for Hong Kong and with Macau, on 11 September: it was a hybrid meeting with Zoom. There were altogether 80 Rotarians from different Clubs that have attended the 3 Orientations. Objectives of the Orientation are to nurture our new joins and to enrich their understanding in Rotary so they can enjoy and to better serve in their own Clubs. DG opened the Orientation via Zoom, Chair PDG/CP Eric and Vice Chair CP Jimmy, Vice Chair CP Kent, (in Macau) and Vice Chair, PAG Damain, (in Mongolia) and their Teams, led the discussions with Speakers sharing, interactive discussions, lively games and everybody contributed and participated to a fruitful learning!
