Rotary International District 3450 is committed to unite leaders and professionals to exchange ideas and work together to build inclusive communities. Through organizing the Virtual Peace Camp from 3 to 4 April, 2021, Rotary International District 3450 and Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong enabled participants from all over the world to discuss issues on conflicts management, respect to diversity and promotion of inclusion. Rotary Club of New Territories sponsored 18 students of South Tuen Mun Government Secondary School to join this significant event, which inspired students to be inclusive and strive to promote love and peace.

Joseph YIM, Deputy Assistant Governor of Area Six of Rotary International District 3450, President Francis CHAN, President-Elect Peter LAU, President-Nominee Kitty CHAN of Rotary Club of New Territories visited South Tuen Mun Government Secondary School on 7 May 2021 to officiate the Opening Ceremony of Virtual Open Days cum 20th Anniversary of Drama in Education Commemorative Volume Launch. During the event, all Rotarians led by President Francis CHAN visited the game booth with theme “Love and Peace”, which displayed students’ reflections on the peace camp, paper cranes folded by them wishing for world peace and the word guessing game which promoted peace, love and harmony. Participants of Virtual Peace Camp expressed their gratitude to Rotary International District 3450 for broadening their horizons and building a caring and inclusive environment. They all looked forward to joining such a meaningful worldwide exchange activity again in the near future.

南屯門官立中學「和平營會」參與學員供稿

國際扶輪3450地區致力團結領袖及專業人士積極共建和平共融社會。通過於2021年4月3日至4日舉辦「線上和平營會」，國際扶輪社3450地區和香港李寶椿聯合世界書院讓來自世界各地的參加者共商處理衝突、尊重差異和提倡共融等議題。新界扶輪社更資助南屯門官立中學18位學員參與此意義重大的活動，啓發同學學會包容及宣揚和平。

國際扶輪3450地區第六地域嚴偉豪副助理區總監，新界扶輪社陳志雄社長，劉旭候任社長，陳雪麗社長提名人於2021年5月7日到訪南屯門官立中學，主持以「愛與和平」為主題的「網上開放日暨南官戲劇教育20周年紀念特刊發布會」。活動期間，陳志雄社長帶領一眾扶輪社社友參觀「線上和平營會」遊戲攤位，當中展示了同學參與「線上和平營會」的反思、同學親手摺的紙鶴以祝願世界和平，以及宣揚和平、愛與和諧的猜字遊戲。參與同學衷心感謝國際扶輪3450地區藉着活動擴闊他們的眼界，並共建關愛及共融的環境。他們期待日後能再次參與此富有意義的國際性交流活動。
