City Governor’s Office, “Startup Technology Incubator” LLC at the Institute of Chemistry, Chemical Technology and Geography of the Academy of Sciences of the Capital City, Rotary Club of Selbe of RID 3450 and Rotary Clubs of Murakami and Murakami-Iwafune of RID 2560 joined hands to launch Green initiatives.

CONTAMINATED SOIL REHABILITATION USING USEFUL LIVING MICRO-ORGANISM “BIO-ECO” BIO-PREPARATIONS AND DISINFECTION OF GER DISTRICT HOUSEHOLD TOILETS

Project for the reduction of 35,000 m2 (3.5 ha) of soil that has been contaminated with toxic heavy metals and bacteria in the ger districts of 11th Khoroo of Khan-Uul District of Ulaanbaatar City, using soil rehabilitation and the disinfection of 500 pit latrines and sewage pits has been running since 11 September, 2020.

Total budget amount – 35.0 million MNT

On 13 September, 2020, Deputy Governor of the Capital City N.Munkhjargal visited the 11th khoroo of Khan-Uul district to get acquainted with the progress of the project.
